Jenkins Gate Repaired/Summerwinds Delay
The Jenkins Street back gate has been repaired. Unfortunately, we are still waiting for parts for the Summerwinds Gate which we hope to obtain Monday. Thank you for your patience.
Jenkins Gate Out of Service
The Jenkins Street gate exiting Ocean Ridge is currently not working. Please use the main gate off Docksite Road or Summerwinds gate to exit the development.
Ocean Ridge Updates 10/21/16
Ocean Ridge Updates – October 21, 2016
- The Jenkins gate is now operable and no longer flooded. The Summerwinds gate remains closed due to a malfunctioning gate.
- The “Boil Water” advisory has been lifted.
- Next week is the last week the town will pick up garbage twice a week.From then on until next summer, Mondays will be the only days for garbage pickup.
- The Town has requested that yard debris not be placed in plastic bags for pickup, since the Town is going to burn it.
- The Town Council meeting will take place on Monday at 10 a.m. (Agenda) and the Town Hall meeting on Monday at 1 p.m (Agenda).
Tropical Storm Julia
At this time (9/14/16), Julia has dropped approximately four inches of rain on Edisto Beach. The Ocean Ridge back gate at Jenkins Street is significantly flooded. Please use the front gate to enter and exit until the storm has passed and the water has receded. Be careful out there!
Jenkins Gate Out of Order 8/19-8/23
The Jenkins Street Gate is temporarily out of order. You can exit Ocean Ridge through the gate, but you can not re-enter Ocean Ridge through the gate. You can re-enter through the Main Front Gate or through the Summerwinds Gate. The entry gate should be repaired by Tuesday, August 23, 2016. Thank you for your patience!
